Attention Ryan!!!! Due to the city having to turn off the water we will be dismissing class at 12:00 p.m. today, Thursday, August 29th. The school busses will run at 12:10 p.m. Due to the severity of the issue with the water system there is a large chance that classes will be cancelled Friday, August 30th. We will make an announcement by 8:00 p.m. tonight regarding classes tomorrow. If you have any questions please contact the Elementary or High School campus.

Attention Junior High Football Parents! Here is an updated schedule for our J.H. Football season. All games have a 6:30 p.m. kick-off time. All players should meet at the field house no later than 4:00 p.m. on away game dates, and no later than 5:00 p.m. on home game dates. ATTENTION JUNIOR HIGH FOOTBALL PLAYERS & PARENTS!!! The game tonight versus the Temple Tigers has been CANCELLED!!! We will be rescheduling that game for September 16th. ***Also*** Any 6th grade student that is interested in playing JH football should come out to the field house this week (Monday - Wednesday) from 3:30 - 4:15 p.m. We have a few teams scheduled this year that will be paying only 6th - 8th grade on their JH teams, and we'd like to extend that opportunity to any 6th grader as well. If you are a parent and you have questions you may email Coach Z. at zroberts@ryan.k12.ok.us, or you may come visit him to talk when you bring your 6th grader up to the field! The first official day of school is Thursday, August 15th for all students who are NOT attending career-tech classes in Duncan. Those students who are attending career-tech in Duncan begin school this Thursday, August 8th. The bus leaving for Waurika will depart the high school at 7:00 a.m.

As you make your way around campus this next week for high school and junior high softball and enrollment we hope that you take notice to some amazing updates we were able to get done this summer. New Flooring installed in the Elementary Hallway and Cafeteria, as well as a brand new paint job. The football field got brand new LED game lights installed for this fall season! The softball field got an updated retaining wall and new sod installed for the upcoming year to better suit seating and parking for games. The Elementary playground got an update as well! We would like to thank all of those who have helped to get all these projects completed before you all enter the halls next week. Go Cowboys! Go Cowgirls!

Attention High School Football Players & Parents! We will be having a mandatory team meeting on Thursday, August 8th @ 6:30 p.m. at the field house. We will be handing out new practice/game equipment as well as new practice gear for the start of the season on Monday, August 12th. We need ALL players to be there that can. After the meeting we will be going to Coach Roberts' house in Waurika to have our first official Team Dinner of the season and go swimming. We hope all the boys can make it out and spend some quality time together before the hectic pace of this fall begins! We will be taking a bus back and forth from the field house for all those players that may need a ride. We hope you are all just as excited as we are about this upcoming season! We hope that you've enjoyed your time off and have a lot of exciting stories to share when you all return in August! Speaking of that...Enrollment Dates are very near! Attentions Student Athletes & Parents!!!! Students have an opportunity to receive a FREE Physical Examination for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This will be Thursday, July 18th, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. @ the Ryan High School. ALL students who are participating in ANY sport MUST have a physical before they are allowed to compete in any event. Below are the forms that must be signed by a parent / guardian in order to get your physical on July 18th. Copies of these may be filled out the day of the event if you are unable to print them off at home/work. The first set of documents (with the OSSAA logo in the top right) is the Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation Form & Parental Consent must be filled out by every student getting a physical. The second set of documents (without the OSSAA logo in the top right) is the Consent for Sports Physical Participation. This form will only be needed to be filled out for students whose parents ARE NOT able to attend the physical examination with them on July 18th.

Attention High School Football Players and Parents! We will be having a H.S. (9th - 12th Grade) Football Team Meeting at 6:30 P.M. on July 8th. Please remind your student athlete (or yourself) to be there! We have some things we need to discuss with you all before going into this next section of summer pride and hopefully what will be a championship season! We will resume Summer Pride workouts at 7:00 P.M. on July 8th for J.H. and H.S. students. We hope to see all of you there fore these last half of our summer workout program. Thank you all!
