Waurika will not be sending a bus to the career-tech center this morning. Due to this all Ryan students who attend career-tech need to either drive themselves or ride with another student who can drive.
Due to this issue being out of our (RHS) control all Ryan students who DO NOT attend career-tech today will be given an EXCUSED absence.

The dance will be held in the Cafeteria immediately following the game. The dance will last until 11:00 p.m.
Admission is $7 per student.
Concessions will be available for $1 - $2.
The Ryan Cowgirls are on the road this afternoon.
They will compete in a 3-way match up versus the Central Bronchos and the Ninnekah Owls.
First pitch leaves the mound at 5:30 p.m. @ Central High School!

Good morning Cowboy & Cowgirl fans!
We would like to formally apologize to all students and parents who have purchased a 2023-2024 Yearbook.
I know that many of you are anxious to get those books in your hand. And, I, Coach Z., am taking full responsibility for that delay. We have the yearbooks in the building. But, after production we noticed some extremely important mistakes that we must fix before we allow those yearbooks to be distributed. I am currently in the process of waiting to receive the materials I need to fix those mistakes.
I had hoped they would be delivered this week, and they have not.
As soon as we are ready to distribute I will let you make a post and we will get them to you ASAP.
I would also like to extend this discount to everyone who had pre-ordered a yearbook last year. I will be including in your yearbook a coupon for $10.00 off the 2024-2025 yearbook for this current school year if you chose to purchase one. That coupon will automatically discount your book from $40.00 to $30.00.
In addition to this discount I would like to offer all the businesses whom purchased a 1/2 to Full page ad in last years yearbook a complimentary copy for your continued support! We had an incredible year at RHS last year and we want to share that with you all.

A.J. Alejandro received TWO national recognitions for his scores on the PSAT/NMSQT tests he took last year as a junior. He recently celebrated his 18th birthday! So if you see this young man around town give him a congratulations and a happy birthday! He and his family work so hard to shine a light on our community!

Junior High & High School Football Players & Parents!!!!
We will be having J.H. football practice today from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. for all 6th - 9th grade J.H. boys that are willing and able to make it. The J.H. squad will travel to Grandfield tomorrow, Tuesday, September 3rd, for a 3-way scrimmage with Grandfield & Mt. View. The 6th grade will NOT suit up to play tomorrow, but are more than welcome to come!
The H.S. football squad will be meeting toady at 5:30 p.m. to watch film, lift, and go over a few things to begin getting ready for our next match up against Burns-Flat.
All hands on deck!!!!
The FFA would like all students that are willing and able to meet at the HS cafeteria around 12 pm to help set up tables and chairs for the Alumni Weekend Celebration!

Attention Ryan!
Per the Town of Ryan we will not have enough water pressure to run our school facilities efficiently enough to serve our students tomorrow.
So, there will be NO SCHOOL tomorrow, Friday, August 30th.
We will be unable to get water from Waurika until sometime tomorrow afternoon.
Although our campus will be closed the Technology Center bus will still run at normal time in the morning and will return around 12 pm.
